Private pilot policy

Privacy

Effective August 26, 2026

Statuvo is a private-pilot service that helps businesses share project and service status with their customers through simple tracking pages.

Information Statuvo processes

We may process business account information, such as an approved user's name and email address, along with organization, project, milestone, and customer-visible update information a participating business chooses to enter. A business may optionally enter a customer phone number or email address and independently enable transactional project updates by text or email. Statuvo does not ask for customer home addresses, payment details, or device passcodes.

Customer tracking links

Customer tracking links are bearer links: anyone who has an active link can view its limited customer-facing status. Businesses should share links only with intended recipients and revoke or replace a link if it may have been exposed.

Business inquiries and optional text messages

People interested in Statuvo may submit their name, business name and type, mobile number, preferred call time, and an optional short message. Statuvo records whether the person separately chose optional SMS messages and the consent wording shown at submission. Mobile information is used for the Statuvo inquiry and messaging a person affirmatively requests. It is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging and infrastructure providers may process it only to operate and deliver the requested service.

Opening a customer tracking page does not provide marketing consent. Statuvo does not use a participating business's repair-shop or other customer data to market Statuvo.

Service providers and security

Statuvo relies on infrastructure and software providers to host and operate the service, including delivery providers that process recipient details and transactional message content when a business sends an update. We use access controls, encrypted HTTPS connections, isolated environments, restricted customer projections, hashed tracking secrets, and revocable links as practical safeguards. No system can promise absolute security.

Retention and pilot changes

Retention and deletion practices will evolve as the pilot develops. The service and this policy may change during the pilot. A product contact mechanism will be added or updated before a broad public launch.

Highly sensitive information

Businesses must not enter passwords, phone unlock passcodes, Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, medical records, government ID numbers, or similarly sensitive information during the pilot. Repair shops must keep device passcodes in their existing secure process outside Statuvo.
